Alex Reyes, Principal
Prior to founding Reyes Capital Management, Alexander J. Reyes, received a BS in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and an MBA in Finance from Golden Gate University. Alex was previously with Golden Gate Partners, Ltd., where he served as a co-portfolio manager. Most recently he was at Charles Schwab and Company, where he served as a senior mutual fund analyst, a fixed-income advisor and later as a Private Client portfolio manager in the Hillsborough/Burlingame area. He has lectured on investment topics throughout the Bay Area, and has appeared on local radio and television. Alex is an Instructor with the University of California at Berkeley Extension program, where he teaches a semester-long course on investing for individuals. He is also an adjunct faculty member of the University of Phoenix.
Reyes Capital is a Registered Investment Advisor with the State of California. Alex has passed the Series 7, 63 and 65 examinations, as well as Level I of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) program. Alex, 46, is married and lives in Marin County with his wife and two daughters.
